The difficult and personal story of mainstreaming a handicapped child is the topic of this Academy Award-winning documentary. This video chronicles a year in the life of Peter Gwazdaukas, a young boy with Down syndrome, and his integration into a third grade class. After an initial trying first week in Mrs. Stalling's class, both Peter and his classmates (and his teacher) discover the triumph and the joy in the education of Peter.
