Synopsis by Nathan Southern
Since her initial late-eighties bow, the multi-lingual Puerto Rican diva Ednita Nazario has stunned audiences around the globe, both with her stage performances (The Capeman, 1997) and with striking interpretations of numbers in English, French, Spanish and Italian. Her abilities appeared in full-flower on such EPs as Tu Sin Mi (1991), Lo Que Son Las Cosas (1991), Pasiones (1994), Por Siempre Ednita (1997), and - most recently - Apasionada (2005). Now, Nazario comes to home video with the concert film Ednita Lazario: Apasionada Live, in which she performs twenty tracks, including seven from the bestselling Apasionada album. Numbers include: "Sobrevivo" (with two encores), "Lloviendo flores," "Agua profunda," "Calor," "Eres libre," "Vengada" and "Si no me amas," along with three medleys.
