After fleeing Serbia, Jasna (Mirjana Jokovic) and her teenage daughter Nina (Nina Kiri) try to build a new life for themselves in a new country. With trauma from the events in their home country deeply ingrained in them, the two ladies try to navigate their personal lives with little success — Jasna’s mental state is further undermined when she has to take up menial jobs in order to provide for her family, while Nina faces the pressures of high school with while confronting poverty and her mother’s volatile nature. Written and directed by Sanja Zivkovic.
