Synopsis by Hal Erickson
British director Wilfred Noy did his best to make heads or tails of this poverty-row melodrama. Betty Blythe plays Coney Island concessionaire Paula, who adopts orphaned Mary Lee (Pauline Garon). The younger girl is swept off her feet by seedy entrepreneur Tony Tyler (Jack Richardson). To show Mary that Tony is a no-good, Paula romances the cad herself. Though filmed on a very thin shoestring, Eager Lips is well photographed by the reliable Ted Tetzlaff and Ernest Miller.
