A group of hardcore gamers reassemble to seek revenge against the backstabbing former teammate who betrayed them years prior before going on to win the coveted Queen City Championships. 30 years ago, Merlin's (Ashton Francis) father founded the popular tournament. As youngsters, Merlin, Andy (Dan Willows), Jerm (Kyle Markewich), and Brian (Ed Mendez) passed their days battling dragons and ogres in imaginary worlds. But it all fell apart after Brian got engaged, and his fiancée forbid him from associating with his geeky friends. Subsequently betrayed by their friend and former teammate Allister, the group recruits his spiteful ex-girlfriend Sam (Amy Couzens) to help them take back the title that is rightfully theirs.
