Willowdean (Danielle MacDonald), nicknamed Dumplin', is the plus sized daughter of former beauty queen Rosie (Jennifer Aniston), who is too obsessed with and devotes much of her energy to the local pageant Miss Teen Bluebonnet, much to Willowdean's annoyance. Having had enough, she signs up for the pageant in protest and, in doing so, stirs up a movement that will change their small town's notion of beauty pageants. A musical comedy directed by Anne Fletcher and written by Kristin Hahn.
