Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Captain Plunkett (Tom Moore) finds life pretty dull after he gets back from the Great War, but he gets more than his share of excitement when he stumbles onto a den of jewel thieves. He saves Olga Karakoff (Naomi Childers) when the police raid the place, and she introduces him to her father (Edwin Stevens), who hires him to find one particular gem. Along the way, he meets Patricia Melton (Christine Mayo), who is after the same diamond. Plunkett tries to quit when he finds the elder Karakoff with the smugglers, but he swears that he is only posing as one of them. Meanwhile, Patricia has lured Olga to her home in an attempt to get the diamond, which, it turns out, Olga has in her possession. This film was based on the Saturday Evening Post story by Henry C. Rowland, which became a novel shortly before the film was released.
