Celebrate seventy-five years of BBC broadcasting excellence as the BBC Symphony Chorus and Orchestra performs Edward Elgar's timeless choral masterpiece in the awe-inspiring setting of St. Paul's Cathedral in London. A setting of Cardinal Newman's poem concerning a deceased elderly sinner whose soul is soon to be judged by God, Elgar's composition is led by conductor Andrew Davis and features special appearances by soloists Catherine Wyn Rogers, Philip Langridge, and Alastair Miles.
