Dreadnaught Rivals is the sequel to late-1970s chopsocky Dreadnaught. The hero, Sinon Lin, is left in the lurch when his girlfriend Louisa Monk is kidnapped by the villains. Lin would like to leap to her rescue, but knows nothing of martial arts. He is instructed in the intracies of kung-fu and karate by his drunken servant, Kent Ko. Lin proves a quick study-and he doesn't drink.
