Goku finally arrives at the field of battle, where Team members Piccolo, Krillin and Gohan are on the verge of defeat at the hands of Nappa and Vegeta. In fact, the Team's ranks have been diminished to two, with Piccolo sacrficing himself to save his pupil Gohan. As Nappa moves in for the final kill, Goku demonstrates all he has learned under the tutelage of King Kai.
