Description by Studio

A political prisoner in the 18th Century Caribbean is sent to work out his sentence in back-breaking labor on an island plantation. But his love for the plantation owner's wife and his lust for freedom soon lead him to start an uprising against the brutal regime which enslaves the island's people. A commentary on dictatorship the world over this melodrama is rich with historical detail, and spiced with sex and sadism.
