Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Hoping to make up for past transgressions -- and to save civlization in the process -- Vegeta allows the superpowered Cell to beat him to a pulp, but refuses to give in to the pain. Trunks wonders if it is worth putting his own life on the line to save his "treacherous" father. Meanwhile, Vegeta gears up to deal out the spectacular "Final Flash," which may or may not put Cell out of commission for keeps. First broadcast in Japan in 1992, "Trunks Ascends" made its American TV bow on November 5, 2000.
