Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In the final episode of DragonBall Z's brief "Buu Saga," Vegeta prepares to atone for past misdeeds by sacrificing his life on behalf of his Z-Fighter comrades. As Trunks and Goten groggily look on from the sidelines, Vegeta mounts a last, fatal assault against the malevolent Majin Buu. Instantly, Vegeta literally sunbursts out of existence -- but has he really vanished for good? First shown in Japan in 1993, "Final Atonement" aired in the United States on November 13, 2001, officially bringing the fifth American TV season of DragonBall Z to a close.
