Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
This lighthearted episode of the classic cop series finds Officer Gannon (Harry Morgan) inviting Sgt. Friday (Jack Webb) to his home to eat dinner and watch a football game. Despite their best efforts to relax, the hapless Gannon is plagued by neighbors who keep bothering them with police-related problems. One irate neighbor complains that the police issue parking tickets frivolously (Gannon's advice: "Pay the two dollars"), while another complains of spousal abuse. When yet another neighbor calls to ask help as a burglar attempts to break into her house, Gannon and Friday move in to make the arrest. Ironically, receiving a ticket after parking across from his driveway, Friday advises his old comrade to "pay the two dollars."
