Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Random House Video was responsible for the animated One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. All you parents out there will instantly recognize that title as the creation of the immortal Dr. Seuss. While the animation in One Fish... etc. isn't quite up to the standards of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, the artists do an admirable job transferring the inimitable Seuss style to the small screen. Also presented are colorful renditions of two other Dr. Seuss works, "Oh the Thinks You Can Think" and "The Coat Book." The purpose of the video, of course, is to gently persuade preschoolers that "reading is fun-damental".
