Produced in Montréal, Dorchester Theatre was a CBC drama anthology specializing in plays written especially for television. Among the writers represented were M. Charles Cohen, Marcel Dube, and Eloi de Grandmont. Most of the English-language dramas presented herein were translations of the plays previously shown over the CBC's French-language service. Dorchester Theatre was telecast on Fridays from June 28 to September 27, 1957.
