Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
Americans Sheldon and Diane Rochlin present this vivid documentary of the drug culture in London. The wayward youth become addicted to heroin and other substances and follow the pursuit of happiness that often leads to degradation or death. The feature does not attempt to moralize or justify the existence and use of drugs and the addicts who crave them, but presents the findings of the camera in a straightforward manner that avoids preaching, moral posturing or solutions to the problem. One young addict dies at a hospital when the physicians believe he is a hypochondriac.
