In this quirky comedy from the filmmaking duo behind Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre, Sam Rockwell plays Don Verdean, an overconfident biblical archaeologist who is hired by a provincial pastor to unearth sacred artifacts in Israel. Unable to fulfill his mission, Verdean attempts to cover up his dismal failure in comic fashion. Directed by Jared Hess. Written by Jared and Jerusha Hess.
