Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Doggie and Three is a Czechoslovakia children's film delineating the consequences of a fib. Little Tony (A. Kosnar) is followed down the street by a dog. To impress his pals, Tony claims that the dog is his. When the pooch goes back to its original owner, two of Tony's well-meaning friends "kidnap" the pet -- and the chase is on. Reminiscent of the old Our Gang comedies, Doggie and Three was filmed in 1955; its American TV premiere occurred 14 years later when it was telecast on CBS' Children's Film Festival.
