This program captures a jazz legend in performance: trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie. Performing here with the United Nations Orchestra, Gillespie tears through a number of his favorites, including "Manteca" and "A Night in Tunisia." Making appearances are several other jazz musicians of some note, including James Moody and Slide Hampton.
