Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Del Henderson and Gertrude Bambrick star in this adaptation of the play by Victorien Sardou. The flirtatious Cyprienne (Miss Bambrick) falls for a Count (Dave Morris). But instead of exploding with jealousy, her husband, Des Prunelles (Henderson) decides to let him have her. A divorce is in the works, but Cyprienne realizes that her husband is really the better man. She breaks dinner plans with the Count by telling him she has to go to her aunt's, then goes out with her husband. The count dashes to the aunt's house, only to find that the woman has been dead for two years. Then he is mistaken for a highwayman and arrested. A friend gets him out of jail and takes him to dinner -- at the same restaurant where Cyprienne and her husband have gone. When he hears her laughter, the Count breaks into their private dining room, but a policeman throws him out.
