The Sheira and Loli's Dittydoodle Works series originated on WLIW, a New York, a PBS affiliate. As a children's program, Dittydoodle couples live actors with life-sized puppets, all of whom magically become animated at various points during the show. Dittydoodle Works' beloved characters include Doodles the Crayon, Professor Eeky Eeky Kronk, Zippy the Kwirk, The Funkins -- Bluedles and Pink-a-Dink, Miss Molly, and the hosts, puppets Sheira and Loli. This motley band of colorful critters teaches young at-home viewers lasting values such as self-esteem, compassion, and tolerance of others. Dittydoodle Works: Ditties for Little Kiddies is a home-video release featuring footage of songs performed on the show (and also available on the music album of the same title). Numbers here include "Dittydoodle Works Theme," "Tick Tock," "Ice Cream Man," and "Bonkyloo."
