Synopsis by Dennis Proctor
The original cast from the international summer/fall stage show Dirty Dancing perform all of the staples from the motion picture of the same name. Bill Medley, Merry Clayton, and Eric Carmen star in the well-known production brought to home video by Artisan Entertainment. The Dirty Dancing tour was launched after the success of the 1987 feature film directed by Emile Ardolino, and starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. In this live rendition, the dancers keep the music and moves alive on many Dirty Dancing favorites, including "Hungry Eyes," "Do You Love Me," "The Time of My Life," "Yes," and "Almost Paradise."
