Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
In a unique look at what liberation might mean to one hemmed-in woman, director Kitty Kino has Lily (Anita Kolbert), a model used in advertising shots, undergo a superficial sex change. For no obvious reason, Lily sprouts a beard one day and finds she can pass herself off as a man without even her own friends recognizing her. She takes advantage of her new identity and has a good round of fun in the process. But then when she is asked to pose for a new ad, she shaves the beard, keeps the moustache, and assumes the posture of a victory goddess. The ad is an instant success, and Lily has the chance to rethink her relationship with her married boyfriend. No matter what happens next, she is a tad more liberated than in her pre-hirsute persona.
