Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
In this popular and critically praised documentary, the quirks of the human spirit are featured as people of all types cram together like sardines -- 8,000 total -- into one sun-drenched campsite for the "freedom" of a special vacation. Interviews with the camp guards indicate how they are able to enforce camp rules while other interviews indicate that not everyone shares the guards' respect for the rules. Interviews with more than one vacationer extoling the benefits of this wonderful campsite give pause to even the most optimistic, rule-bound veteran of the work force. If this is the freedom of a vacation for these happy campers, then what are their jobs like?
