Synopsis by Leslie Birdwell
Was there ever a woman so loved by the whole world? Diana Spencer, the People's Princess and the official Princess of Wales, was compellingly watchable. Even those who turned up their noses at celebrity gossip invariably turned to look at her on the covers of magazines and on TV. Far from tabloidistic, this video uses tastefully film footage and a fine classical music score to tell the story of the little girl who grew up to live out a fairy-tale dream life that disintegrated around her -- but managed to re-make herself into her own woman just before her life ended, far too soon. Proceeds from this video will go towards the Princess of Wales Memorial Fund, which provides grants to landmine victims programs and to programs aiding displaced persons.
