A gifted pianist and potent song stylist, Diana Krall has brought classic jazz to a new audience with her stylish performances of the great standards, and she weaves her special magic while staking out new territory on this home-video release. Diana Krall: Live at the Montreal Jazz Festival features Krall and her trio performing a collection of classic tunes as well as several numbers from her 2004 album, The Girl in the Other Room, much of which was written by Krall in collaboration with her husband, Elvis Costello. Selections include "Temptation," "Love Me Like a Man," "All or Nothing at All," "Abandoned Masquerade," "Black Crow," and nine others.
