Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Filmed in Miami, which at one time was being considered as an alternate Hollywood, Destiny's Isle stars the charming Virginia Lee. Essentially a rehash of the old love-on-a-desert-island bromide, the film is enlivened by a wealth of imaginative notions. The best sequences take place on water (in a motorboat) and in the air. Virginia's vis-a-vis is Ward Crane, best known to modern audiences as Buster Keaton's larcenous rival in Sherlock Junior (1924). Also on hand is Arthur Housman, one of moviedom's favorite comic drunks, here cast in a sober-sided role.
