Synopsis by Janiss Garza

There's not a whole lot of love but there sure is a lot of rootin'-tootin' desert action in this Tom Mix Western. In the first reel, some bandits shoot up a town and kill the sheriff (Mix). But before he dies, the lawman leaves behind a list of the men responsible for his murder. Twenty-five years later, his son, Buck Marston (also played by Mix), has grown up and followed in his father's footsteps by becoming a sheriff. Now it's his duty to run down all the bandits and give them their just desserts. The last one, known as the Whelp (Lester Cuneo), kidnaps the sheriff's girl, Barbara Remington (Francelia Billington). After a thrilling chase, Marston kills the outlaw and saves the girl. Although it's pretty standard Mix fare, this film was particularly well made.
