Jack (Romaine Fielding, who also directed) is a fine, upstanding young man until he heads West to seek his fortune. Then drink gets the better of him, as does the charm of a temperamental dancing girl, Chiquita (Vinnie Burns). When Mary, the girl Jack left back home (Violet Malone), comes out to see him, she finds he is completely bewitched by his new love. And when he kills his friend Bob in an argument and is sentenced to death, Chiquita declares she can't live without him. So together, they head far out into the desert and a sandstorm buries them alive. As trite as this picture sounds, it actually got some good reviews.
