A continuation of Kids of Degrassi Street, which was set in a racially and economically diverse city neighborhood, the program became popular for its upfront presentation of emotional issues. In this episode, Kathleen tries to deal with the knowledge that her mother has a drinking problem, with the help of Caitlin and Rick.
