Synopsis

Defence of Canada was a weekly documentary series focusing on the history of Canadian military and foreign policy. Rare and long-unseen archival footage featured such Canadian and Britsh noteworthies as Robert Borden, John Buchan, Douglas Haig, William Lyon, Mackenzie King and King George VI. The one-too-surprising premise of the series was that Canada's involvement in faraway wars was determined almost exclusively by the country's British roots.
