Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
An alcoholic Texan who nearly destroyed his life with liquor seeks a second chance to turn his life around, and repair his relationship with his family in this biopic centered on the life of noted Texas 4-H and FFA contributor Richard Wallrath. His life destroyed by alcohol, Dick (Jon Gries) struggles to remain sober with the guidance of an enigmatic bearded figure (Val Kilmer) whose wisdom instills him with the strength to launch his own business. As Dick becomes more successful, he commits himself to providing educational scholarships to children in Texas 4-H and FFA. Elaine Hendrix and D.B. Sweeney co-star.
