Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
A rather simple kidnapping story, this silent action melodrama starred veteran serial ace George Larkin and his real-life wife Ollie Kirby as an artist and his girlfriend. Travelling in the Sierras, the two encounter a mountain guide (William Quinn) who falls in love with Ollie. The stranger doesn't take no for an answer and kidnaps the girl. At the risk to his own life, Larkin rescues his sweetheart, proving, according to the film's press book, that he is a man of courage and daring. Deeds of Daring was one in a series of low-budget action melodramas produced and directed by Charles R. Seeling, a former cameraman.
