Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A team of renovators working on a dilapidated hotel find themselves caught up in a deadly race to locate the $10 million that was hidden somewhere in the building following a big bank heist back in 1989. Twenty-three years ago, Hotel Del Sol owner Alex Stein and his partner-in-crime Donald Martin robbed the Okie Town Bank with the help of a small crew. Though the rest of the gang escaped capture, Donald stashed the money safely away before being sent to prison. Local Detective Sam was never able to crack the case, eventually retiring while Donald languished behind bars. Meanwhile, Allan Liarsby and his tight-knit crew of contractors land a job renovating the hotel after it changes hands. As ambitious Daily Newspaper reporter Justin researches the Okie Town Bank Heist, he learns that Donald will be getting out of prison in just a few days. A subsequent conversation with a doctor at a local youth mental hospital leads Justin to suspect that something terrible is about to unfold. Now, as Allan and his crew go to work on the hotel, Donald and Sam show up to claim their cash. And they won't have second thoughts about killing anyone who gets in their way.
