Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A summer camp with a death curse prepares for a gala re-opening as the optimistic new owner attempts to erase the tragedy of the past by staging a little fun in the sun in director Jake Daniels' forest-bound slasher flick. Years ago, Camp Vernon was the perfect summer destination -- secluded, peaceful, and with a lake that was perfect for those lazy summer days spent lounging on the beach. That all changed, however, when the camp was forced to shut down as the result of a shocking series of unsolved murders. What's done is done, though, and after years of quiet sunshine it's time for the kids to reclaim their once-popular summer stomping grounds. Now, as the diverse group of counselors prepares Camp Vernon for another summer of sun-soaked fun, something terrifying stalks their every move from the dark shadows of the nearby forest awaiting the perfect moment to strike.
