Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A desperate farming community learns that a bountiful harvest comes at a terrifying price after being cursed by a vengeful shaman. The year was 1866; the rain has stopped falling, and Perseverance was dying. In a moment of desperation, a struggling farmer agreed to make a sacrifice in exchange for the rain that would save his crops. But when the farmer failed to make the human sacrifice demanded by the shaman, the town fell under a curse that spanned generations. Flash forward to present day, when the residents of Perseverance are still paying for the sins of their descendents. A dreadful rain washes over the small town once a year, and now the only way to break the shaman's curse is to spill the blood of the innocent.
