A mine in the West is in need of new managers and Cliff Stone (Victor Sutherland) and John West (Kenneth Hunter) arrive to take over. Kate (Virginia Pearson) runs the local honky tonk and she and Cliff become involved. West's wife Irene (Mary Martin), however, interferes with the relationship and incurs Kate's wrath. The miners are running riot, and Kate intends to help them, and to also ruin the Wests' marriage. But before she can do any damage, she discovers that Irene is her sister, who she hasn't seen since leaving the orphanage where they both once lived. Kate halts the miners' activities and eventually she and Cliff are reunited.
