Synopsis by Hal Erickson

The "dangerous dude" in this slick actioner is roving reporter Reed Howes. The hero's publisher father, who doubles as a building contractor, is assigned to construct a dam. A rival publisher, who also happens to be in the construction business, tries to halt work on the dam, and he isn't above resorting to sabotage. The villain's perfidy backfires when his daughter Dorothy Dwan finds herself dangling from a concrete bucket 100 feet in the air while the frayed cable threatens to snap at any moment. In the customary nick of time, Howes rescues the girl, bringing this mile-a-minute programmer to a rip-roaring climax.
