Exactly one year later, the girl reappears to celebrate Jiro's twenty-first birthday. But something is different this year, and when the situation suddenly turns violent Jiro makes a shocking discovery about his eccentric new companion. As benevolent and beautiful as she may be, however, is there such a thing as true love between man and machine?
