This video takes the viewer on a journey along Alaska's fabled Inside Passage. The marine highway of southeastern Alaska, the Inside Passage is wild, scenic, and home to many species of animals, including orca whales, seals, and eagles. The boat stops at the major island destinations along the way, including Ketchikan, Wrangell, Petersburg, Haines, Sitka, Juneau, and Skagway. Each island community has its own unique charm, from the nordic culture of Petersburg to the frontier gold mining town of Skagway. There is a trip to Mendenhall Glacier, on the edge of Juneau, Alaska's scenic capital. The video captures the beauty of this region, considered to be one of the most spectacular in the world.
