Synopsis by Rob Ferrier
Each episode of the History Channel program Time Machine takes viewers on an in-depth journey through a seldom traveled corridor of world history. Relying mostly on interviews with experts and the use of archival footage, each tape puts viewers into the historical experience. In this particular episode, viewers experience the events of Black Tuesday, in October of 1929, the day that the stock market crashed and sent the world reeling into the worst depression ever seen. How the Crash changed today's financial climate is given a good amount of attention.
