The racetrack is unforgiving; it is never more apparent than in the three-part series Crash Mania. This last volume assembles an impressive collection of bad days at the races, and high-speed accidents are not just for indie cars anymore. Monster trucks and motorbikes get in on the action with heart-wrenching flights through the air. A mishap at speeds of 200 miles per hour guarantees a frightening crash. Walls, dirt tracks, and asphalt all play host to these mangled piles of metal. Fans of racing in all its dangerous glory will probably recognize some of these spills and thrills.
