The wintertime holidays and the craft world are examined via Nordic folk artisan Harley Refsal in North Carolina, whose work celebrates the winter solstice; artist Susan Garson, who creates clay menorahs; and San Antonio ceramic artist Veronica Castillo. Also: the National Gingerbread House Competition\ in Asheville, N.C.; the holiday decorations at the Biltmore House, also in Asheville; and the Gran Posada procession in San Antonio.
