This series of public television programs, Cradles of Civilization, provides informative programs depicting ancient centers of human development. Cradles of Civilization: Ancient Greece looks at the glory that was Greece, from the early morning market crowds to the evening symposiums attended by the great minds of the country. With computer 3-D simulations, the viewer is taken back in time to the Trojan War, and the Parthenon and Agora. Greek scholars offer commentary regarding this golden age and its effects on the cultures that followed.
