Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Produced by small-scale Sable Productions, this low-budget silent melodrama starred Jack Meehan as Jimmy Reed, a less than courageous scion of society whose father ships him off to work on the building of a dam. Although he is constantly ridiculed by nasty engineer Roger Dawson (Earl Metcalfe), Jimmy puts up a brave front in order to impress Jerry Luther (Mary MacLaren), the daughter of his foreman. When the doublecrossing Dawson threatens to blow up the dam, Jimmy heroically prevents disaster, saving Doris in the proverbial nick of time. Leading man "Jack Meehan," who also did a series of inexpensive Westerns for Sable, was in reality well-known action star Jack Mower, moonlighting under an alias.
