Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Johnny McLean (Leslie Austin) ruins a family tradition by not graduating from Yale with honors. His sweetheart (Mildred Havens) waits and watches while he goes to Boston Tech and then becomes the superintendent of a mine. There is labor trouble, and he provokes the animosity of the gang leader. An underground fire cuts off some of the men, along with the gang leader. McLean saves the men and then goes fist-to-fist with the gang leader. He is hailed as a hero at a reunion of his class at Yale, and his sweetheart is glad to see him make good.
