Synopsis by Hal Erickson

The "two" in this slice-of-life melodrama are both played by leading man Carlyle Blackwell. While Calvin Douglas (Blackwell) struggles to survive in New York's Hell's Kitchen district, his cousin Anthony Hopkins (also Blackwell) enjoys a luxurious lifestyle on Park Avenue. Suddenly beset with financial difficulties, Anthony finds it expedient to trade places with cousin Calvin. Their mutual masquerade proves to be a valuable "growth experience" for both men, and a source of constant confusion for the heroine, debutante Marion (Evelyn Greeley). Detracting from the film's overall credibility was the fact that the actor hired to "double" Blackwell in certain scenes was neither as tall nor as well-built as the star.
