A documentary that follows Angel Cordero as he is released from prison after serving thirteen years for a crime that another man confesses to during filming. Still not exonerated, we follow Angel as he faces unexpected challenges in a new age of social communication - eventually confronting the man who took away his freedom. Angel soon discovers that his greatest challenge is rebuilding the relationship with his estranged daughter.
