Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Velma Gay (Alice Lake) gets engaged to Buck Linsay (Roy Stewart), a rich Westerner, even though she loves someone else. Buck knows this, and when a burglar breaks into the house the evening before they are to be wed, he assumes the crook is Velma's lover and forces them to marry. The burglar, James Harrington Court (Herbert Rawlinson), decides to go straight now that he's saddled with a wife, and they wind up being professional dancers. Meanwhile, Buck realizes his mistake and tries to get Velma back by getting Court in trouble. His plans don't pan out the way he expects and in the end, he takes Court's side anyhow. This is just as well because Velma has decided that she loves her husband. This odd story was apparently meant to be a melodrama -- the first serious vehicle for comedienne Alice Lake.
